Second Hand

I recently found some tart cherries and decided to experiment with infusing liquors. While I found a lot of great combinations (aged rum is a lot of fun), my favorite was Lockhouse Amaro. This cocktail is reminiscent of a Manhattan but brings a lot more complexity to the table. The tart cherry balances well with the richness of the amaro and plays nicely with the blended scotch. This drink was perfect for this spring that just wont seem to get sprung.
